Alternative credit manager Oak Hill Advisors this week brought in its first head of ESG and sustainability, the company announced.
Filling that role is Jeffrey Cohen, who most recently was the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board Foundation’s director of capital markets integration and head of private investments initiatives. While at SASB, Cohen advised alternatives investors on their uses of ESG factors, according to the announcement.
In the new position, he will report to Oak Hill president Bill Bohnsack.
The New York City-based firm managed $57bn in assets as of December 29, according to the firm, which has about 300 employees globally.
The company was recently acquired by T. Rowe Price, although it will continue to operate as a standalone business.
