European asset manager Amundi has launched the Amundi Funds – Europe ex-UK Equity fund, in response to demand from UK clients for European exposure.
The strategy aims to provide an ‘all-weather’ portfolio with no style bias. It is classified as Article 8 under SFDR and holds 35-45 stocks.
The fund will be managed by portfolio manager and head of large cap equity Fabio Di Giansante, and portfolio manager Keith Jackson.
Amundi said the launch comes in response to demand from UK clients for core European equity exposure.
The fund has received initial support of over €900m.
Di Giansante said: “This fund will provide our clients with access to a portfolio of high quality and fundamentally driven European companies.
“With a team and an investment philosophy with a proven track record, clients will be able to diversity their investments and weather the everchanging market conditions through our Europe ex-UK Equity fund.”
