Edentree Investment Management has appointed Hayley Grafton as senior RI analyst to its responsible investment team.
Grafton will play an active role working with Edentree’s fund management team across the firm’s responsible, sustainable and impact fund range. She will report to Carlota Esquevillas (pictured), head of responsible investment at Edentree, and joins team members Amelia Gaston and Cordelia Dower.
In this new role, Grafton will lead Edentree’s corporate governance and proxy voting work, while working across the team’s core areas of focus this year, which include climate change, financial inclusion and water stress.
Commenting on her appointment, Grafton said: “I am delighted to be joining Edentree at this exciting time. As a leading specialist in responsible and sustainable investment, I was drawn to the firm’s inherent focus and heritage in this space. I look forward to working closely with Carlota, Amelia, Cordelia and other members of the fund management team.”
Before joining Edentree, Grafton worked as a sustainable investment specialist at Mercer Investment Solutions. There, she worked closely with portfolio management teams to deliver the firm’s sustainable investment strategy and implement its stewardship framework. She also has experience working with institutional clients across pensions, endowments and foundations in an advisory capacity, supporting trustees on their sustainable investment journey and in meeting their investment objectives.
