A quartet of Artemis fund managers have exited the firm, Portfolio Adviser has learned.

Craig Bonthron, Neil Goddin, Jonathan Parsons and Ryan Smith all joined the firm in 2020 from Aegon Asset Management – then known as Kames Capital.

The quartet were hired in 2020 to launch the firm’s Positive Future impact equity strategy.

The £11.3m size fund launched in April 2021.

Meanwhile, head of impact equities Sacha El Khoury (pictured) has stepped up to lead the Positive Future strategy.

Artemis CIO Paras Anand said: “We have made this change as part of our commitment to ensure that our investment strategies deliver excellent long-term outcomes for our clients. I believe that this area of investing with a focus on financial returns alongside measurable, impactful engagement is one that clients will increasingly look to in the future and plays to our strengths as active managers.

“Sacha has strong experience and expertise in this area, and we are excited to refresh our investment approach and we will be adding to the team in due course.”
