EdenTree appoints Rathbones’ Smith to European fund

Lauren Smith, former global equity analyst at Rathbones, has joined EdenTree Investment Management to work on the firm’s sustainable European equity strategy. 

Smith will be associate fund manager on the £743m EdenTree Responsible & Sustainable European Equity fund, working closely with Chris Hiorns, EdenTree’s head of multi asset and European equities and lead manager on the firm’s European equities strategy.

At Rathbones, Smith provided sector and company analysis across the consumer discretionary and mining sectors. She previously held investment roles at BlackRock and British Airways Pensions Investment Management.
