A message from our sister publication Portfolio Adviser
Do you believe certain individuals, teams or companies in wealth or asset management went the extra mile over the last year or so? Did any marketing, distribution or digital initiatives particularly catch your eye? Or do you think anyone has been doing especially notable work in the fields of ESG, inclusivity or employee wellbeing?
If so, Portfolio Adviser’s Wealth Partnership Awards, which have been designed to recognise and reward excellence across key elements of the UK’s wealth and asset management businesses, is the perfect opportunity to applaud the very best people and projects across the two sectors.
But the window is closing on this chance. The deadline to nominate deserving colleagues, peers or even competitors is Friday, 15 October – then again, the process of nominating those you believe deserve some recognition will only take a couple of minutes.
Just click here to do so – you can even put your own name forward …
Last year’s inaugural awards saw, among others, Quilter Cheviot named Wealth Manager of the Year and Baillie Gifford Asset Manager of the Year. Quilter Cheviot also picked up the Contribution to Wellbeing award for its Dementia Initiative while Legal & General Investment Management’s Justin Onuekwusi (pictured above) won the Contribution to Inclusivity accolade.
Other winners from the wealth management sector were Credit Suisse’s Jason Lacey for Individual Rising Star, FE Investments for Business Rising Star and EQ Investors for Fund Selection Team of the Year while the manager research team at Square Mile Investment Consulting & Research was named ESG Advocate of the Year.
Five tips for writing a successful PA Wealth Partnership Awards entry
Where appropriate, nominees can be involved in roles relating to UK-based wealth management and asset management – including, but not limited to, investment, management, strategy, product development, marketing, communications, sales, client service, human resources and front, middle or back-office operations.
After the deadline for nominations has passed, category shortlists will be created on the strength of completed questionnaires and from these an expert panel of judges will decide the winners. When assessing entries, they will be asked to attribute significant weight to relevant achievements accomplished since 1 January 2020. The winners will be announced on 30 November 2021.
