ESG Clarity

ESG Clarity is extremely proud to present our educational hub ESG Clarity Intelligence, in partnership with the international business of Federated Hermes.

The hub is a standalone website providing the resources fund buyers and selectors need to improve their understanding of this rapidly changing industry and the rising number of investment solutions becoming available. Whether it is getting to grips with new regulations or certifications, delving into thematic analysis or video interviews with industry experts, ESG Clarity Intelligence is the go-to centre for readers to educate themselves, their colleagues and their clients.

ESG Clarity has secured exclusive content for the site including commentary from industry body leaders and the United Nations Capital Development Fund, while Federated Hermes is providing access to its CPD modules on sustainability.

A roundtable series has also been launched with an investment professional from Federated Hermes and a panel of wealth managers, with the first trio focusing on sustainable fixed income featuring Mitch Reznick, head of research and sustainable fixed income.

Finally, in our new Ask the Expert series, ESG Clarity’s global head of ESG insight Natalie Kenway interviews Federated Hermes’ Will Pomroy, lead engager for SDG engagement and small & mid cap equities, and Hamish Galpin, director, head of small & mid cap, lead manager of global small cap strategy, on investing to support the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals and engagement with investee companies.

Commenting on the launch of ESG Clarity Intelligence, Kenway said: “We are very excited to launch this brand-new hub to our global audience.

“The interest in responsible investing has exploded in recent years but it also comes with new terminology, data, regulation, an increasing amount of products and so much more – and is advancing at a rapid pace.

ESG Clarity Intelligence will support readers in navigating this relatively new way of investing and provide tangible insights to help them understand, educate on and further integrate ESG.”

Leon Kamhi, head of responsibility, at the international business of Federated Hermes and editorial panellist for ESG Clarity, added: “The ongoing climate crisis and Covid-19 have undoubtedly and rightfully heightened the focus on sustainability. We have seen a seismic shift with investors now reassessing their long-term aims and outcomes of their investments which is being met by increased stewardship and a surge in supply of a whole plethora of ESG and sustainable products.

“Having long advocated for putting investors’ holistic interests first through responsible investment and credible investor stewardship, we hope this momentum continues, but it is vital that clients have complete transparency and knowledge of what they are investing in. ESG Clarity has recognised the need for education and is playing a key in this movement.

“We are delighted to partner with them on this new launch.”
