ESG Clarity is excited to announce its very first live expert Q&A session for readers on Twitter

We will be kicking off this new initiative with the CEO of the UN’s Principles for Responsible Investing (PRI) Fiona Reynolds.

ESG Clarity readers are invited to pose questions to Fiona Reynolds (pictured) on the impact the covid-19 pandemic is having on responsible investing. She will be answering the questions live on Thursday 14 May at 14.00 BST.

The PRI is an international network of investors working together to implement ESG into investment processes to ensure a sustainable global financial system. It has global operations which includes more than 3,000 signatories representing over $90trn in assets under management, across 50 countries.

Reynolds was appointed CEO of the PRI in 2013 and has over 25 years’ experience in financial services, particularly in the pension sector where she has worked with the Australian Government and has played a key role in advocating pension policy change on behalf of working Australians.

She has a particular interest in retirement outcomes for women. Prior to joining PRI, Fiona spent seven years as the CEO at the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees (AIST) an association for Australian asset owners and has also formerly been a director of AUSfund, and been on the boards of Industry Funds Credit Control, Australia for UNHCR and the National Network of Women in Super Network.

In 2018, Reynolds was named by Barron’s magazine of one of the 20 most influential people in sustainability globally and by the Australian Financial Review of one of Australia’s one hundred women of influence for her work in financial services and responsible investment.

Reynolds serves on the board of the UN Global Compact and is the chair of the Financial Services Commission into Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.  Additionally, Fiona is a member of the International Integrated Reporting Council (IIRC), the Global Advisory Council on Stranded Assets at Oxford University, the UN Business for Peace Steering Committee, the Global Steering Committee for the investor agenda on climate action and the Steering Committee for Climate Action 100+, and has been a member of the UK Government Green Finance Taskforce and the Advisory Board for the Green Finance Institute.

The live Q&A is a new initiative from ESG Clarity to boost interaction between the in-house team and our readers, as well as connect them with ESG investing experts such as the CEO of the PRI. To pose you questions to Fiona Reynolds please go to Twitter and Tweet @ESGClarity with your question plus the hashtag #AskFionaReynolds. We will review your questions and post them to Fiona (who can be found at @FiReynolds) at 14.00 BST on Thursday 14 May.
