ESG Clarity publisher Bonhill is very proud to announce that global head of ESG insight for ESG Clarity, Natalie Kenway, has won Editor of the Year at the Aviva Investors Sustainability Media Awards 2021.

At a ceremony on 19 October, the awards were announced at the group’s offices in London.

The awards aim to acknowledge the journalists, editors and media organisations that have driven consistently high standards of clarity and investigation across national, institutional and wholesale investment press and specialist ESG publications over the past year.

Awarding ESG Clarity’s Kenway with Editor of the Year, the judges said: “Our winning editor’s achievements since being at the helm at this specialist ESG title are nothing short of remarkable. They have spearheaded a complete reinvigoration and revolution of their title’s brand, redesigned and relaunched the website, launched a brand new digital magazine and has taken the publication global. All this has resulted in some impressive results including increasing social traffic up by 182%, organic search by a whopping 238% and total website users by 88%.”

Meanwhile, ESG Clarity was also shortlisted for Best Editorial Campaign for ESG Clarity Intelligence as well as Publication of the Year.

The judges said: “Our shortlisted publication ESG Clarity is now regarded as one of the go-to outlets for fund selectors across the world. From pretty much a standing start, this publication has undergone a total makeover over since 2020 and now stands alongside some of the most well-established titles in the industry.”

ESG Clarity’s Kenway said: “It is such an honour to receive this award and the recognition for the hard work the team have put in to propelling ESG Clarity as to the go-to brand for responsible fund selectors around the world.

“We are not resting on our laurels and have some truly exciting projects coming up including a special COP26 channel with coverage from our team on the ground in Glasgow, and another Global ESG Summit focusing on the transition to net zero.

“Next year, expect to see more innovative editorial campaigns and events from us, and of course we will continue to bring our first-class news, analysis and opinion in multimedia formats.”
