Read ESG Clarity‘s November 2020 magazine here.
As we draw closer to the end of the year, it is difficult to comprehend the many events that have occurred in such a short space of time: Covid-19, lockdowns, social unrest and a new US president, to name a few.
It has also been a year where ESG investing has exploded. Companies with sustainable business models outperformed amid market turmoil, and society reflects on an increasing desire to do ‘the right thing’. With so many new products and managers to now consider in the ESG space, it can be difficult to identify those with true passion to invest responsibly successfully.
On pages 8-11 we bring you our ESG Fund Managers of the Future, as nominated by fund selectors. Also in this issue, we interview M&G’s Ben Constable-Maxwell (pp5-6) and Rathbones’ Bryn Jones (pp14-15) – don’t forget to check out their video interviews on the highlights page. We also explore fund fees (pp24-26) and impact start-ups (p30).
We are delighted to have contributions from the UN’s Capital Development Fund (p12), the World Bank (p32) and Professor Kevin Haines (pp22-23).
ESG Clarity wishes you all the very best for the rest of 2020, and especially a fantastic festive period. The digital magazine will be back in January 2021.
