ESG Clarity’s podcast ESG Out Loud is officially a year old, and what a year it’s been. We’re pleased to have been able to share interviews with industry figures, pick the brains of academics and scientists, dig into the sustainable risks and opportunities of different sectors, and bring you the latest ESG news and updates.

This year we have several new and exciting features. The first is the format of the podcast is changing. From this month our regular industry interviews will be complemented by the audio diary of physical oceanographer and climate scientist Dr Emma Boland.

Boland is an oceanographer with the British Antarctic Survey working in Cambridge. She studies, as she puts it, the ‘weather of the oceans’ and the impact of climate change, and is involved in some fascinating research at the forefront of climate science.

At the end of the next four episodes of ESG Out Loud you will hear a segment from Boland’s diary: her journey into oceanography and trip to the Antarctic, her work on the project ORCHESTRA, her work on the project SMURPHS, and her outlook on climate and the role finance can play.

The second update is we have launched ESG Out Loud U.S. The first episode is out now and it breaks down the SEC’s proposal and what it means for companies’ climate disclosures, as well as featuring an interview with Green Century’s president, Leslie Samuelrich.

If you’re a U.S. financial adviser interested in the growing world of ESG, follow the podcast on Spotify here.

Third, we are thrilled to have been shortlisted as number nine in the top 25 UK sustainability podcasts on Feedspot. You can find the full ranking here.

Due to the success of the podcast’s Sector Special series, we have secured sponsorship for several of these upcoming episodes. If you’d like to find out more about sponsoring an episode, please contact sarah.stewart@bonhillplc.com
