Fidelity International’s head of stewardship in Europe, Emilie Goodall, has announced she will leave the role to pursue new opportunities.
In a post on LinkedIn announcing her departure, Goodall said she was thankful to have had “a front-row seat” to the rapid transitions the industry is navigating.
“Sustainability terminology debates aside, the underlying day-to-day practice of stewardship is transforming, and there’s so much to learn from one another across investors, civil society and academia,” she said.
Goodall joined Fidelity International in 2022 as an impact consultant in the investment division, exploring impact strategies across Fidelity’s extensive fund platform. She took on the then-new head of stewardship, Europe, role in May 2023 to identify system-level investing opportunities and deliver a systematic approach to tracking the outcomes of engagements.
A spokesperson for Fidelity International said: “Emilie Goodall has decided to leave the company to pursue other career opportunities. We’d like to thank her for her service to Fidelity International. We will announce her replacement in due course.”
