Morningstar Sustainalytics’ director of stewardship research and policy, Lindsey Stewart, has joined the International Corporate Governance Network’s (ICGN) Global Policy Committee.
The Global Policy Committee is an investor-led voluntary body compromised of ICGN members, and is designed to enable members to contribute their perspectives on ICGN’s policy work. This includes thought leadership and advocacy activities, and supporting the ICGN Secretariat in promoting high standards of governance and stewardship.
Stewart joins names such as Paul Lee, head of stewardship & sustainable investment at Redington, Kimberley Lewis, head of active ownership at Schroders, Daniel Adams, director, corporate finance & stewardship at M&G, Jeannette Andrews, director investment stewardship at Legal & General, and Lisa Beauvilain, global head of sustainability & stewardship for Impax Asset Management, who are also on the committee.
Prior to his current role at Morningstar, Stewart worked for both Makinson Cowell and KPMG, moving to the Financial Reporting Council in 2021 as its head of stakeholder engagement. A move to Morningstar followed, where Stewart became its director of investment stewardship research.
Posting the announcement on LinkedIn, Stewart said: “It’s an honour to be joining the International Corporate Governance Network’s Global Policy Committee at a complex and crucial time for corporate governance and investment stewardship. Really looking forward to working with such a knowledgeable and talented group of professionals.”
