J.P. Morgan Asset Management has added an Article 9 climate change ETF to its active equity range.
JPMorgan Climate Change Solutions UCITS ETF will invest in 50-120 companies producing clean energy; improving the electric grid; investing in less carbon-intensive forms of agriculture, construction, or transportation; or developing technologies to reduce waste.
Companies will be screened using a combination of the firm’s research, analyst and portfolio management teams, and its proprietary artificial intelligence technology Themebot, which screens nearly 13,000 stocks. Head of ETF distribution Oliver Paquier called this the “first time” artificial and human intelligence has come together in an ETF.
The fund will be managed by portfolio managers Francesco Conte, Yazann Romahi and Sara Bellenda and has a total expense ratio of 55 basis points.
