M&G Investments has hired an impact director from Oxfam GB to work on the firm’s impact strategy.
Rana Modarres will work with the investment teams and portfolio companies to meet impact objectives, measurement and reporting.
She will join the firm’s Catalyst team, which is investing up to £5bn in private sustainable businesses in climate, healthcare and inclusion.
The Catalyst team is led by Alex Seddon, who said: “We are very pleased to welcome Rana who brings extensive knowledge and expertise in social and impact investing.”
Modarres joins from Oxfam GB where she was director of investing and social impact.
