Fidelity International, Nordea Asset Management and Pictet Asset Management funds have topped the ESG Clarity and Bonhill Intelligence Responsible Ratings Index (RRI) sustainable funds ranking this month.
The RRI is a one-stop overview of the top-rated ESG funds in Europe.
More and more research houses and data providers have started to rate responsibly invested funds based on their ESG credentials, as well as their performance, volatility, resources and company sustainability agendas.
The RRI is rebalanced monthly to reflect changes to the individual ratings, but also to encompass the growing number of data providers that are beginning to award ESG funds with a score.
This month, Fidelity Global Dividend fund was in first place, Nordea’s Global Climate and Environment fund was second and Pictet was in third with its Global Environmental Opportunities fund. With this magazine drilling into climate and biodiversity we asked if any of these top performers could share insights on how they foster climate resilience in their funds.
Speaking about the Global Environmental Opportunities fund in ESG Clarity’s May 2022 digital magazine, Pictet senior client portfolio manager, thematic equities, Jennifer Boscardin-Ching, said physical risks linked to climate change are on the radar and are being measured in the fund.
