Climate and nature advisory firm Pollination has added Diana Callebaut, Shane Flatman and Rob Grant to its newly created executive committee amid a wider expansion and scale-up of the business.
The business is expanding into Asia, beginning with a focus on Singapore and Tokyo, working directly with financial institutions, corporates and governments to steer the flow of capital to the most effective climate and biodiversity solutions.
Callebaut (pictured right) was most recently head of real assets and private markets at the $110bn NSW Government Sovereign Investment Manager, and has joined Pollination as global head of investment.
Flatman (pictured left) was formerly COO at OneVentures and prior to that COO of BlackRock Australia, and joins as Pollination’s chief financial officer.
Meanwhile, Grant has become head of projects, having held clean energy leadership roles including director of energy at Fortescue Metals Group, CEO of Pacific Hydro, and chair of the Clean Energy Investor Group.
He will steer the group’s origination, development and delivery of decarbonisation projects.
Furthermore, Paul Orton, group general manager (internal audit) at ANZ, will join Pollination’s board. This follows ANZ’s recent $50mn investment in Pollination and formation of a partnership to deliver the next generation of sustainable finance solutions.
