Principles for Responsible Investment – the investor initiative established though a partnership with the United Nations – is seeking new members to join its private equity advisory committee.
The group published a formal invitation on Tuesday inviting interested signatory members to volunteer to shape the future strategy and execution of the organisation’s private equity programme.
The private equity programme is led by an advisory committee of signatory members who draw up and implement strategies for industry engagement and education.
New members will be decided in consultation with the existing members of the PRI Private Equity Advisory Committee which includes investment groups Apax Partners, APG Asset Management, Harvard Management Company, Pantheon, and the Universities Superannuation Scheme.
To be considered for the committee, individuals must be available to commit to a three year term from January 2019 and pledge to attend four 60-90 minute committee meetings each year.
At least one of those committees must be attended in person and there is the possibility for additional work in producing research, case studies, speaking on event panels or acting as a media spokesperson.
The outgoing members who have completed the current three year term include TPG’s Beth Lowery, USS’s David Russell, Ellen de Kreij of Apax Partners, Oak Hill Capital’s Lee Coker and Marta Jankovic of APG.
