ESG Clarity is delighted to announce its next expert for the live Twitter Q&A series.

Professor Paolo Taticchi, who is professor (education) in strategy and sustainability, as well as deputy director (MBA and International) at the UCL School of Management, will be tuning into Twitter on Wednesday 14 April at 14.00 BST to answer questions from ESG Clarity readers.

Professor Taticchi has teaches modules on sustainability and competitive advantage, strategy, consulting, and the future of cities. He is described as the foremost academic studying corporate sustainability in the UK. In 2018, he received the title of Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic. Then in 2019, he received the ‘Talented Young Italian Award’ from the Italian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the UK.

He has also written the book, Corporate Sustainability in Practice, in which he proposes a new definition of corporate sustainability for the modern age, which he discussed recently in our podcast ESG Out Loud. He also recommends sustainability is treated as an integral part of business rather than a secondary cost.

With his expertise is able to answer readers’ questions on:

  • The impacts of climate change, population growth, and increased wealth disparity on business
  • How the attitude of businesses to corporate sustainability needs to change
  • How corporations can take material steps to become more sustainable
  • How his definition differs from past understandings of corporate sustainability
  • Why any corporate process that creates economic value must also create value for society.
  • The integration of ESG factors in decision-making
  • The sustained creation of shared value

ESG Clarity invites you to submit your questions to Professor Taticchi by Tweeting a post including your question, our handle @ESGClarity and the hashtag #AskProfessorPaolo. This can done either before the 14 April or on the day at 14.00 BST.
