Impact investment manager Snowball has made a series of appointments including Christine Chang (pictured) from Big Society Capital.

Chang joins Snowball’s investment committee. She previously worked at Big Society Capital as a member of the executive and investment committees and is also the managing director of Path to Impact, a consultancy embedding impact strategies into investment.

Meanwhile, Danielle Walker-Palmour is joining Snowball’s board as non-executive director (NED). She is the founding director of Friends Provident Foundation, a charity dedicated to creating a fair and sustainable economy.

The group previously announced the appointment of Sean Farrell, who is now replacing Peter Baxter as CIO, with Baxter moving into an NED role and becoming chair of Snowball’s impact investment committee.

CEO Daniela Barone Soares commented on the appointments: “The investment sector needs accountability and transparency. We continue to recruit and retain original thinkers with extensive asset management experience, as we work towards our goal of setting standards now for tomorrow’s markets.”
