Tillit has appointed Alexandra Danielsson to its investment committee.

Danielsson (pictured) has more than a decade of experience in financial markets, with a focus on ESG and sustainability, and has previously worked at Federated Hermes, Ninety One and most recently, the Principles for Responsible Investment.

The firm said the appointment ‘marks an exciting milestone’ as the firm continues to enhance its fund selection process.

Head of fund selection Sheridan Admans commented: “The growing importance and complexity of ESG and sustainable investing means that as fund selectors we have to ensure that we have the expertise and experience required to find, analyse and offer only the best-in-class sustainable funds to our customers.

“While Tillit is not an investment platform solely focused on offering sustainable investment solutions, we are committed to continuing to enhance and improve our fund selection processes in this area.

“Alexandra’s expertise will enrich our debates and discussions at the investment committee, as well as provide support and challenge to our fund selection process, ultimately leading to better outcomes for customers.”

Danielsson added: “I am delighted to be joining Tillit’s investment committee. Responsible investing plays an important role in today’s global financial system and I look forward to using my experience in this approach to benefit Tillit’s offering and its customers.”
